Introduction
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of HaereHub.
By accessing or using HaereHub, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Purpose of the Service
HaereHub provides software to assist schools with managing student transport operations.
HaereHub is a software platform only. Schools remain responsible for the operation of their transport services, supervision of students, and transport-related decisions.
User Accounts
Users are responsible for:
- Keeping login credentials secure
- Maintaining accurate account information
- Using the service only as authorised
Users must not share accounts or allow unauthorised access.
Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- Attempt to access data belonging to another school
- Interfere with the operation of the service
- Circumvent security controls
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Upload malicious software or content
HaereHub may suspend or terminate access where misuse is identified.
School Responsibilities
Schools are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate student and transport information
- Managing authorised users
- Making operational transport decisions
- Verifying transport arrangements and student collection procedures
Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance, upgrades, outages, or third-party service disruptions may occasionally affect availability.
Data Ownership
Schools retain ownership of their operational data entered into HaereHub.
HaereHub retains ownership of:
- The software platform
- Source code
- Documentation
- Branding
- Website content
- Associated intellectual property
No ownership rights are transferred through use of the service.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in HaereHub remain the property of HaereHub or its licensors.
Users may use the platform only for its intended purpose and may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or reproduce the service except as permitted by law.
Privacy
Use of HaereHub is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaereHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service.
HaereHub's total liability relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for the service during the preceding twelve months, where applicable.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law.
Termination
HaereHub may suspend or terminate access where:
- These terms are breached
- Security risks are identified
- Continued access would create operational or legal risk
Schools may stop using the service at any time.
Changes to the Service
HaereHub may modify, improve, or discontinue features from time to time.
Reasonable efforts will be made to minimise disruption.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
